MY APPROACH
RELATIONAL
I work in a relational way, treating each client as a unique individual with a unique set of circumstances. I aim to really understand what each person is dealing with.
INTEGRATIVE
There are many different types of therapy that inform my work such as Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
CREATIVE
Sometimes words are not adequate to express how we are feeling, and so it can be useful to utilise creative techniques such as drawing or using the imagination.
NON-JUDGEMENTAL
The space I offer is safe and non-judgemental. I aim to accept and support you in a warm and caring environment as you explore your inner thoughts and feelings.
ROBUST
The therapy I offer covers all areas of your life. I will look at how elements of your childhood experiences impact your current day-to-day, and work with you to create strategies to overcome any habits you wish to change. This means that therapy is often difficult, and can feel like opening Pandora's box. However, in the right therapeutic environment, working through these issues can allow for a greater sense of self-awareness and allow you to make a positive influence on your present and future.
